Prune your life?
Yeh one of my aspects is a Landscape Gardner & I’ve been doing hours of pruning with fruit trees the last couple weeks. When I created the image above with the Midjourney web app I went yes that’s exactly it. Pruning fruit trees is like a pattern for pruning your life.
- Cut out any dead, diseased or dying aspects
- Cut out any crossing branches, where they rub creates a wound, wounds let in infection ….. hmmmmm see where I’m going with this? (Relationships or behaviours that do not serve us.)
- Look for the fruiting buds – the buds that will produce fruit potentially this year
- Look for the vegetative buds the ones that create new branches & leaves this year
- Look for what parts of the tree you want to grow in the future & what parts you do not.
- It’s life, deal with the past & release it, be with the present & enjoy the juicy life you’ve created, make strategic cuts & actions to produce what you intend to create in the future & then let it go.
I find most of my lessons are right in front of my nose, demonstrated in nature.
So I invite you to prune ONE thing that needs to go.
Just one, set yourself up for success not failure.
So make it doable, not a pie in the sky ‘One day I’m going to ….’, yep that’s exactly where that creation will stay …… in ‘One day’ but not manifested. My most consistent success has come by finding strategies that work for me to make the changes in my behaviour that will serve me better, leave me happier. Some days …. well insert favourite swear word. That too I’ve learnt to be okay with. If it’s not today that I’m ready to make a change it’s not today. It’s all about being truthful with yourself. Forget everyone else’s opinion, you are your own best teacher.
